“I enjoy working with Boards of Directors to formulate
creative solutions to issues, and am always willing to lend an ear
to listen and respond to questions or concerns.“
I began my foray in Community Association issues early on as a law student personally involved in a homeowners’ association dispute. This experience quickly revealed the many intricacies of resolving a dispute between an association and an owner, including the detailed review of association Governing Documents, and formulation of legal arguments and strategies based upon those documents, as well as pertinent provisions of applicable statutes.
Inspired by my personal experience, upon graduating law school and passing the Florida Bar, I began my legal career representing real estate investors in a variety of legal disputes, ranging from collections issues to property maintenance obligations. From there, I went on to work for one of the largest creditors’ rights firms in the State of Florida, where I successfully managed a high volume of foreclosure actions.
Finding that I truly missed the Community Association Law practice, I joined Katzman Chandler in 2018, where I have continued to grow my wealth of knowledge relating to Community Association matters to focus on transaction and litigation-based issues. I enjoy working with Boards of Directors to formulate creative solutions to issues, and am always willing to lend an ear to listen and respond to questions or concerns.
