“The true strength of a community lies in the engagement and collaboration of its members.”
SENIOR ATTORNEY Born and raised in South Florida, the opportunity to represent community associations throughout the State of Florida has been immensely rewarding and has developed into a passion. This passion can be traced back to the start of my legal career at a small firm, where I advocated for my first association clients. Nearly a decade later, I have immersed myself in the many complex issues facing community associations in their day-to-day business, management and the operational aspects of governing their communities. My role and duties to our clients encompass a general counsel role, providing support to Board of Directors and association managers regarding covenant enforcement, drafting and interpretation of Governing Documents, risk management, levying and collecting special assessments, and any other matter for which a client needs additional perspective or counsel. Prior to joining Katzman Chandler, I served as general counsel for a large real estate developer, coordinating all legal matters, including the creation of community associations for the firm’s new construction projects. While community associations may share similar structures under Florida law, understanding each community’s unique fingerprint is vital to providing exceptional representation and advocacy. Striving to understand the Board’s strengths and challenges, I promise to work tirelessly to craft a legal solution that reflects your community values.Practice AreasInterpretation and enforcement of Governing Documents, Legal Opinions, Governing Document Drafting and Amendment, Contract Review, Delinquent Account Collections, Pre-Suit Arbitration and Mediation, Litigation.
